Khalid Akil (aka KD) is a husband, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a godfather, a friend, an extrovert, and a bit of a nerd.

KD is from Music City (NashvilleTN), loves to travel and lives in the Tampa Bay Area. He strongly believes in creativity and thrives in creative spaces like music studios, art museums and craft breweries across the country. He has a passion for visual & performing arts including (but not limited to) music, dance, acting, fashion, writing, architecture, and design.

Professionally, KD is the co-founder of FlyDialogue as well as a sales / marketing expert who has the unique ability to manage an entire sales process. He makes meaningful connections with prospects and prefers client-facing interaction. He then focuses on the right solution for his customers which has allowed him to successfully build, manage, retain and enjoy fruitful business relationships for 25+ years.

Ultimately, KD and the Fly Dialogue team are a collective of hip-hop professionals. Although they may not work directly in the music industry, their actions are driven by a mentality that is informed by the culture they were born into.
